In celebration of Dental Hygiene Month, throughout the entire month of October, Dr. Nicole Mackie Dental Implant Specialty Center will host the “Serving Smiles” donation drive treating guests who donate a brand new adult or children’s toothbrush to a $25 off discount on teeth whitening service. All toothbrushes collected will be donated to the local non-profit Las Vegas Rescue Mission, which offers hope to individuals and families in our community by providing food, shelter, daily necessities, addiction treatment, and more to those in need.
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is a 501(c)(3) charity that has been assisting homeless men, women and children in the community for 50 years. Since its inception in 1970, the Mission has been providing meals, emergency shelter, recovery programs with addiction counseling and encouragement to help the low-income and homeless in the Las Vegas community. The Mission started as a small storefront building that included a chapel, kitchen and shelter, which was able to house a few men. Today, the Mission campus, located in Downtown Las Vegas, is helping hundreds of men, women and children daily while providing approximately 20,000 meals each month. We are a nonprofit Christian organization and provide services to all people without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, age, gender, religion or disability.
